At Cyfarthfa High School, our Student Digital Leaders play a vital role in shaping the way we use technology across the school.
These pupils are enthusiastic, responsible, and digitally skilled individuals who support both staff and students in making the most of our digital tools. From promoting safe and responsible use of technology to helping lead exciting digital projects, our Digital Leaders are true ambassadors for the Digital Competence Framework (DCF).
What Do Our Digital Leaders Do?
- Support Digital Learning: Help staff and students with using technology confidently and effectively in lessons.
- Promote Online Safety: Lead on key online safety campaigns and raise awareness of how to stay safe online.
- Champion Innovation: Test new apps and platforms, give feedback, and help bring fresh ideas into classrooms.
- Peer Mentoring: Offer support to other students, including how to use school devices, software, and learning platforms.
- Represent the Student Voice: Give valuable input into how we develop our digital strategy and ensure pupil views are heard.
